Microsoft invests $10 billion in ChatGPT maker Open AI

ChatGPT has lit up the internet since its introduction in late November, gathering a million users in less than a week

Microsoft, who invests $1 billion into OpenAI in 2019, seeks an inside edge on some of the most popular and advanced artificial intelligence systems.

The news comes less than a week after the company said it’s laying off 10,000 workers as a weakening economy crimps software demand. Microsoft noted in that announcement that it will still invest and hire in key priority areas. 

WHY Chat GPT ?

Chat GPT is an artificial intelligence type bot ( AI- bot ) who considers and answers all type of questions in different way, which is considered to be something innovative.

Where on one side people are expecting someone to answer in real world for many time and also didn't get answers, so for them Chat GPT is best stuff who doesn't care and wills to wait for someone (ask and get).

Chat GPT -3 is what currently running on Open AI website, and they are going to launch Chat GPT-4 in upcoming days.

Chat GPT-4 is nothing but multimodal of Chat GPT 3 where as now it only interact with the help of chats. But in future it will be also going to have Images, audio and added multi stuffs to make it more easily understandable.

Microsoft being an big Tech company interests tech and that's what might be taking them up to Open AI to invest in.
