Wayfair to cut-off 1000 Employees

Wayfair Inc. is an American e-commerce company based in Boston, Massachusetts that sells furniture and home goods online.

 it was founded in 2002, and currently offers 14 million items from more than 11,000 global suppliers. It has offices and warehouses throughout the United States and in Canada, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Wayfair to Layoffs 5% of its global workforce

Another such company, Wayfair Inc has also announced a round of job cuts, said a person familiar with the situation on the condition of anonymity, adding that more than 1,000 employees will lose their jobs, according to Bloomberg news. 

At initial Wayfair announced for 870 layoff of its global workforce now they have increased it to 1000.

Layoffs are accelerating across the technology world since 2022. Many companies including Microsoft, Amazon, Twitter, Meta, and Ola have recently fired many employees and slashed the job opportunities. 

And in queue Wayfair also joined it.
